Christmas Eve 2020

Scarlett (me) came down to Grandpa’s and Gammy’s with my mom and dad and dog Honey on December 23rd 2020, We met with Auntie Sam (home from Marines) and Uncle Vincent (who drove down with Auntie Susan and Penny from Colorado on the 23rd too).

Auntie Susan went to visit her mom. And my mom (Tiffany) went to visit her parents. From the earlier videos, you will see that I (Scarlett) picked out the Christmas Tree on Thanksgiving Day.

Baby Birds leave the nest

This was a little wierd how it worked out.
Grandpa and Auntie Sam saw the mom and dad birds flying back and forth all week long.  Grandpa even rigged up a cover for the birds so they would stay dry.  Then I slept over on Saturday night and Grandpa and I went to see the birds on Sunday morning

We saw three little babies on the top of the nest and then Grandpa took this video.  Then, they were gone…. all day. Pooof!

It was like the babies stayed just long enough for me and then they said “Goodbye”.  Sweet and kinda cool.  We don’t know where the fourth baby is… he might have left early. (Grandpa checked nest and the fourth baby was not there, so we think “he” made it)

XO,
Scarlett
