Birds in backyard looking for food

I do not know what kind of birds these are, or why some are pretty white and others are kinda gray. They move fast and poke at the ground looking for something… maybe bugs? They do not stick around too long if they see people though. The crows and the buzzards are a little friendlier.

Do it Themselves Random Release Frog Backyard Program
Grandpa said he would wait for me to release the frogs that started out as tadpoles… but they started growing legs and disappearing their tails, so he let those that wanted to go out on their own do so.
Grandma will complain every time she sees a frog in the future I am sure… and she was wondering if this was legal?

They did probably because Grandpa threw out the fish bait from the freezer in the garage after the power outage.

These are some birds attracted after Grandpa threw some of the food out after the electricity went out on Sunday when the transformer blew. Grandma doesn’t “get it”… but that’s OK.
