Early Easter Eggs with Auntie Sam
Auntie Sam was home for a few days after Marine Boot Camp Graduation.
We decided to do Easter Eggs today 2/23/20, as Auntie Sam leaves to go to Jacksonville NC on 02/25/20, then on to Oklahoma, then who knows.

Auntie Sam starts Marine Crucible
My Auntie Sam starts her last main test before becoming a marine.
At around 2:00 am Eastern time, on Thursday morning 01/30/20, her November 18 2019 Platoon starts a 54 hour, 45 mile, sleep deprived military exercise/ challenge called the Crucible. Grammy built a shrine… lots of parents do. Samantha will complete the course, no doubt, on Saturday around 8:00am February 1 2020
The drill instructors go from yelling and intimidating, to yelling and intimidating and encouraging… I have read. This is a once in a lifetime experience, if you don’t have to do it over. Those that complete this “Crucible” are then called Marines… for real.

Scarlett and Grand pa and Uncle Vincent caught some fish in the backyard. One fish was to big for the tank and we wanted to set it free (which we did). then we caught somesmall fish and some shrimp and used a tank Auntie Sam had, and some supplies Grandpa bought a while back just in case.
