These tadpoles sure are hungry. This is the third time today they ate stuff.
Some rice, and then dry dog food.

This was a first time event for us. Grandpa leaves a bucker out under the roof near the front of the house to be able to catch water to water the plants. This time, there were tadpoles swimming on the top! Grandpa could not just pour them outy as they would surely have died. So he saved them in a fish tank and will make a movie each day to see how they do.

No tadpoles were hurt or lost in this adventure

Abby likes beetles, I think.

For some reason, beetles in Florida seem to flip upside down and then wiggle their legs.
This makes Abby freak out a little bit.

Abby was barking in the backyard…
and Grandpa took a look.

There are two common types of land turtles in Florida…
This is a box turtle… and then there are gopher turtles.
If you saw an earlier video when I was five, that turtle was a gopher turtle.
Grandpa put Abby back, and let the turtle go … of course.
